What you can't buy

Position. Where a bakery appears is computed from a rating where we have one, how specifically it does wedding cakes, whether it publishes a starting price, and review volume damped so popularity informs the order without deciding it. Claiming a listing and paying us change none of it, on purpose — the mechanics are public.

What money does buy is a clearly labelled Featured slot, and $2 for a lead once it has actually reached you. Nothing is charged for a listing, and an empty wallet never stops a couple's enquiry getting through.
