Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using WeddingCakes Hub ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

WeddingCakes Hub is an online directory connecting engaged couples with wedding cake bakers. We provide baker listings, search functionality, quote request forms, and optional premium listing features.

3. User Accounts

• You must provide a valid email address to create an account or claim a listing.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
• One account per person. Automated or bot-created accounts are prohibited.

4. Baker Listings

• Initial listings are created from publicly available business information (Google Maps, Yelp, etc.).
• Bakers may claim their listing by verifying their business email.
• Claimed listings may be edited by the verified owner. You must provide accurate, non-misleading information.
• Bakers may opt out and request removal of their listing at any time.
• We reserve the right to remove listings that violate these terms or contain fraudulent information.

5. Quote Requests

Quote requests are transmitted from couples to bakers via our platform. WeddingCakes Hub is not a party to any transaction between couples and bakers. We do not guarantee responses, pricing, or service quality.

6. Premium Subscriptions

• Paid plans (Premium, Verified, Premium + Verified) are billed monthly via LemonSqueezy.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal date.
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us within 7 days of a charge for refund requests.
• We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent listing information
• Send spam, unsolicited messages, or abusive content through quote forms
• Attempt to scrape, crawl, or bulk-download directory data
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Impersonate another business or claim a listing you do not own
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose

8. Intellectual Property

The WeddingCakes Hub name, logo, website design, and AI-generated content are owned by us. Baker-uploaded photos remain the property of the baker. By uploading content, you grant us a non-exclusive license to display it on the platform.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy of listing information, the availability of bakers, or the quality of their services. Use the directory at your own discretion.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WeddingCakes Hub shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration.
